This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense enthusiasm across the fandom. From the gradual reveal of newcomers before the title's release, to trainers forming strong opinions on the full lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.

Given many of the Super Forms boasting unique appearances that highlight their traits, one thought came to mind: How can link this with astrology? This list is based on a mix of vibes, sign stereotypes, and personal experience.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was nearly selected for Aries, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that evoke the most fear. However, a Super Houndoom comes across as always angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, known for being fun, cheerful, and spontaneous. This makes the Ram far more similar to Mega Camerupt, which solely spews lava when provoked. Taurus – Super Heracross

Much like a loyal Bull, the reliable Heracross species, whether in its regular and Super Form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. The sign famous for being charmingly critical is strongly mirrored throughout this creature's entire lineage, from a always surprised face like a Virgo when you tell them you don’t have a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo posts to the group chat when all says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a strategy.

Libra – Super Audino

Look at this sweet, sensitive creature, who uses the feelers on its ears to detect how people are feeling by their pulse. Consistently empathetic – sometimes to a fault – and striving to keep the peace, there are many Scales who would probably appreciate Mega Audino’s skills. However, let’s be honest, it would probably just cause them to worry more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Super Banette

Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly sad backstory: Abandoned as a toy, it gained consciousness through sheer resentment and vowed retribution on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That seems exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpio friends. A Scorpio adores karma and comeuppance, making them the perfect pair with Super Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly putting on a performance. Being a Archer personally, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful little entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to display its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Archer counterpart I can think of.

The Goat – Super Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the power to predict disasters in advance? That gives the identical energy as a Goat, who often consistently believe they’re right. Interestingly, similar to a prophetic Super Absol, they frequently are.
